Cat

Founded in 2009, Animal Rescue Foundation has a simple mission to promote the welfare of dogs and cats in Seguin and Guadalupe County.

A Little About Us

ARF's mission is to promote the welfare, rescue and adoption of dogs and cats in Guadalupe County and surounding counties. To follow our mission we do many things in our area. We work to educate the community. We assist our community with donating pet food to the Christian Cupboard to help low-income families keep their beloved pets. We give low-cost rabies shots to Seguin and Guadalupe county residents. We also have our Spay and Neuter program and Pet Vet program. These programs assist low-income owners with spay/neuter and vet care of owned animals in our community. In 2017, we funded just under $4,000 to help to assist low-income pet owners with vet care.

Another way we help in our community is by rescuing dogs from our local shelters. Since 2009, Animal Rescue Foundation has rescued and adopted over 1000 animals. All animals that are brought into our care are given a medical examination, fecal test and worming if necessary, heartworm test, rabies shot, Dhpp shot, microchipping, and spay/neuter. We make sure that all of our animals are healthy before they are put into a forever home.
